How to give  effective presentations  by  Ronald Van Dien

 

Biography:

Ronald van Dien completed Library School in 1988. Since then he has worked as the head of several medical and psychiatric libraries. He is a co-founder of the Central Catalogue of Hospital Libraries in the Netherlands and former Chair of the Dutch Medical Library Association. In 1998 he became general manager of EBSCO in the Netherlands. Since 2001 he has worked as a medical library consultant for Ingressus. He is stimulated and motivated by sharing ideas, experiences and knowledge with other library professionals.

Aims:

This workshop will equip you with the  requisite skills and confidence to deliver effective and entertaining presentations to your audience using both  powerpoint and handouts.

 

Intended Audience:

Library staff who give presentations  regularly and wish to improve their skills

 

There are only 30 places available on the workshop and bookings are made on a first come first served basis.
