‘Show and Tell’ Competition

Are you a current\u00a0LIS<\/span>\u00a0student<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>or recent graduate?<\/p>\n

The\u00a0LIR<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>HEAnet User Group for Libraries invites you to share your work in a pre-recorded PechaKucha<\/a>\u00a0presentation\u00a0<\/span>(20 slides with 20 seconds of commentary per slide; total presentation length of 6 minutes, 40 seconds)<\/span>. PechaKucha tips, resources,\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0examples can be found\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is an opportunity for you to\u00a0develop your presentation, communication,\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0impact skills by sharing your research with\u00a0<\/span>LIR<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span> the wider community. Prizes will be given to the top 3 submissions (vouchers) and participants can win a LIR branded hoodie. A\u00a0selection of videos will be\u00a0show<\/span>cased on the\u00a0LIR<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Group website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This competition is limited to current\u00a0LIS<\/span>\u00a0student<\/span>s\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0graduates from the past two years from\u00a0Dublin Business School, University College Dublin, or Ulster University.<\/p>\n
