Announcement of LIR Bursary 2017 prize winner<\/strong><\/p>\n 2 June 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n The LIR Committee is delighted to announce that Niall O\u2019Brien, Library Assistant, UCD library is this year\u2019s winner of the LIR Bursary 2017 Prize.<\/p>\n Niall intends using the bursary to \u00a0fund his attendance at the Library Innovation Conference<\/a> in London on 17-18th<\/sup> October 2017. As Bursary Prize winner, he \u00a0will write a report on his experience of the conference for LIR Website, and deliver a presentation on it, at our Annual Seminar <\/a>in November 24th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n We would also \u00a0like to take this opportunity to \u00a0thank all the \u00a0applicants \u00a0for their \u00a0time, dedication and effort in applying for the \u00a0LIR Bursary 2017 \u00a0prize. The \u00a0judging process proved quite difficult \u00a0due to the high calibre of submissions , and the Committee \u00a0engaged in \u00a0long deliberations prior to selecting an outright winner.
